What's the difference between a signature and a luxury blowout?

The Signature Blow Out is our everyday blowout. It's a shampoo, a scalp massage, a conditioning treatment, a blow dry and a style. You walk out with hair that has body, movement and shine.

The Luxury Blowout adds a custom professional conditioning treatment, chosen to repair and enhance shine, before the signature blowout. Pick it when your hair feels dry or tired, or when you want it to look its best for a photo.

What we use on your hair

We work with professional products from Redken, Wella, Keune and Kevin Murphy. Your stylist picks what suits your texture, whether you need volume, smoothness or hold that lasts through an evening.

How the blow dry itself works

A good blowout depends on tension and sectioning. We dry the hair in sections with a round brush so each one lays smooth and holds its curve. Skipping steps shows up in an hour. Doing them right shows up at the end of the night.

When should I book a blowout?

Book one when you want to look finished and don't need a change. Guests come in for weddings, birthdays, work events, photos and nights out. If your hair needs pins, braids or an updo instead, that's a different service, so look at upstyling or our special occasion hair page.

Blowouts between color visits

This is a quiet favorite. If you color with us on a long schedule, such as a balayage that lasts months, a blowout between visits keeps your hair looking polished without touching the color. Who comes to us for blowouts, and how often?

Guests drive from Loveland, Deerfield Township, West Chester, Montgomery, Liberty Township, Maineville, Landen and Madeira. Some come for a single event. Others book one before every big weekend. How often is up to you and your schedule.

How do I get to the salon from where I live?

We're at 5150 Socialville Foster Rd in Mason, close to Deerfield Town Center, with a dedicated parking lot that has plenty of room. If you're coming from West Chester or Maineville for an event, give yourself a few extra minutes for the drive and our parking lot makes arrival simple.

Our hours are Monday 9 to 5, Tuesday through Thursday 9 to 9, Friday 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 3. We're closed Sunday. Saturday mornings fill up before weekend events, so book early.

How long does a blowout last?

It depends on your hair type, the weather and how you sleep. Smooth, straight finishes can hold for a few days with care. Ask your stylist how to protect yours overnight, and wash only when you need to.

Should I arrive with clean hair?

No. A blowout includes a shampoo, so come as you are. Your stylist washes, conditions and dries in the chair.

Can I get a blowout before a wedding?

Yes. For a blowout or a style with pins and braids, tell us the event when you book so we plan the timing. Updos are a separate service called upstyling, and you arrive with clean, dry hair for those.

Is a blowout a smoothing treatment?

No. A blowout is a styled finish that fades when you wash your hair. If you want smoothness that lasts weeks or months, ask about our Brazilian Blowout.

Can I add a blowout to a color visit?

You'll already get one. A blowout or haircut must be added to every color service, so your color visit ends with a finished style.
